I like the Charms, but oddly am not as enthused by this blog as I thought I would be. I more thought we were going to get something that's a bit more "Design and development"-y, that described some of the reasoning of structure and more ideas on how the elements worked and then examples to demonstrate it.
I guess while I like it, it's a tad just spoiler-dumping and less what I kinda expected out of a blog post detailing thigns. Still neat stuff, though and interesting thematics. I like the ghsot-warding Charma lot myself.
One thing I think the blog post didn't mention is that it is part 1 of 3.
Part 2 will discuss the Elemental Aura mechanic that all these aspect keywords tie into, while Part 3 will discuss Elemental Signature Charms.

Having opened with some critique, I do want to second the statement that it's cool to be able to see some idea of where DBs are going, and I really appreciate presenting some of the stuff (and even some systems!) here for public opinion. That's a cool thing.
Thank you! If there wasn't any criticism, that's when I'd be worried.

Given "The aspect of this Charm depends on which she uses—salt is Earth, while grain is Wood." in the Occult ghost warding charm, that strongly implies to me that the elemental keyword can't relate to learning the charm, but is something that activates on use.
That's correct. There are a few Charms where you do have to learn the elemental variants—if you want to pick up multiple different kinds of Elemental Bolt, you'll need to pay 3xp for each additional one.
